What we do

Priyamudan

Through this project, we support two organizations namely, Balagurukulam and Samarpana. Caring being the most important aspect of Priyamudan supports all children and adults in meeting their basic needs.

As part of Blossom’s initiative, we share a small portion of their monthly operational cost and educational expenditures. We provide nutrition foods and medicines every month. We also take care of the educational expenses of children studying in private institutions. Apart from this, Blossom volunteers visit these organizations regularly and spend time with the children.

Blossom aims at providing continuous assistance for all the organizations it supports and also to meet their emergency requirements like vaccination and other unexpected medical expenses. Blossom has always believed in the idiom “caring is more important than sharing”. So the activists of Blossom visit both the organizations regularly and spend time with them.

QUEST

Project "QUEST" - provides quality education to the needy with no or minimal cost. It is a dream project of Blossom. Through this project, Blossom helps the economically challenged students to continue their education by taking care of their educational expenses. We also run supplementary education centers (Quest Education Center – QEC) in some villages to improve the quality of education among children. We help government schools to develop better infrastructure and also brought more facilities to the students.

Running centers in rural villages benefitting around 80 students is our starting initiative. We grade students in our centers.

We also have a small library set in each of our centers and collect regular books from people who are willing to give their text books for our children.

We conduct periodic competitions and motivate them in their interested extra curricular activities

We encourage children to participate in all activities and monitor and improve their performance level.

Blossom runs QEC in the remote village called Khansapuram, Virudunagar Dt. (12 kms from Sivakasi).

  • Make visits to our centers and motivate children in any activity that you are best in
  • Contribute with your old books be it story books, text books, activity books, drawing and hobby books in languages – English, Hindi and Tamil
  • Come conduct programs that children can participate and cheer them
  • Help them pass their exams with your regular coaching either being present directly or over the internet
  • You can contribute new notebooks and educational items for them to use on the daily basis

H.A.A.r.t

h.A.A.r.t stands for Health Awareness & Aid Reaching Throughout. Through this project blossom helps the economically-challenged people by meeting their part/full medical expenses. This project also organizes medical camps, blood donation camps and health awareness camps.
